Nintendo of Japan made their announcements earlier on today for the Japanese release date and price for the Wii U. But what about Europe?
It was announced earlier from Japan, there will be a basic and premium SKU. The basic set will come with a white console with 8GB of flash memory for storing your game data and content download from the Nintendo Premium Network.
The Premium set will come with a black console with 32 GB of flash memory for storage space. The official Wii U game discs will be 25GB capacity. Both the premium and basic sets will come complete with Wii U AC Adapter, and HDMI Cable.
The Basic set will include the white console and Game Pad, a stylus, HDMI adapter and AC adapter. The Premium set includes a black console, black Game Pad, an AC adapter, a HDMI cable, charging stand, a Game Pad stand and a console stand.
The system will consume a maximum of only 75 watts of power, with an average power consumption of 40 watts. New Super Mario Bros. U, NintendoLand and Zombie U will be available as launch titles in Europe. It was also revealed Bayonetta 2 will be coming to Wii U along with Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate coming to Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in March 2013. Here’s a list of the titles coming to Wii U.
It was confirmed at 3pm British time, by Europe President Satoru Shibata that the official Wii U release date and price for Europe will be the 30th November. President Satoru Shibata did not give any pricing details, suggesting that different territories will set their own price.
