GirlGamersUK  joined The HMV GamesMaster Golden Joystick Awards 2012 held at the Westminster Bridge Park Plaza Hotel on the 26th October. The Golden Joystick Awards received a record number of four million public votes  recognizing the top video games in 2012. Publishers, developers and video game journalists from across the UK merged together under one roof to begin the celebrations.
 

Here’s a list of the winners, if you missed it earlier last week. We joined Future Publishing in a champagne reception, followed by the main event taking place in the ballroom. Ed Byrne and a robotic Stephen Fry took to the stage with some witty banter to warm up the audience leading up to the award ceremony itself.
