It is the morning after the biggest videogame launch of the year – Call of Duty: Black Ops II. There are likely many fuzzy heads this morning, and many people playing the game. But where were you for the launch?
Personally, I was standing outside my local GAME store, number 126 in the queue. For a small town store, it was a pretty impressive turn out. But I would imagine it was nothing compared to the midnight launch at HMV’s Oxford Street store in London.
Who had the honor, and the ability to withsatnd the cold, of being first in line?
Taylor Pelling, a 19 year old student from Surrey, began queueing just after 5pm on Wednesday November 7th. Here’s what Taylor had to say:
“I’ve attended a few midnight events at HMV, most recently for Diablo III, when I was sixth in the queue, but this time I was determined to be first in line. I love Call of Duty and I know the launch is going to be pretty spectacular, so being at the front of the queue to buy it will make it an even more memorable experience for me.”
And now for some photos from the event – bring out the Zombies…
