The latest Humble Bundle, featuring games from THQ, has now grown to include Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War GOTY Edition – making it an even more essential purchase.
The Humble Bundles are known for their value, along with their support of charity. The player simply pays whatever they want for the bundles of gaming goodness, with the proceeds being shared between the developers and supported charities. Generally, if a minimum price is paid for the bundle, the lucky purchaser gets extra goodies added to their haul.
But the latest bundle seems to have surpassed all others when it comes to value. The Humble THQ Bundle, featuring only games from THQ, began life by including Darksiders, Metro 2033, Red Faction Armageddon, Company of Heroes, Company of Heroes: Opposing Forces, and Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor, with buyers paying the average price also getting Saints Row The Third and a selection of soundtracks. A bargain already.
But then THQ added Titan Quest and the Path to War DLC for Red Faction Armageddon. And now, with only a day and a half to go until the bundle offer finishes, the brilliant Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War Game of the Year Edition has also been included in the bundle. The average price to get all of these games is currently at $5.68 and, with a value of over $230, if you were gonna buy one bundle this year, this would have to be the one.
