Square Enix Japan have announced the Wii U version of Dragon Quest X: Rise of the Five Tribes Online aka Dragon Quest X: Itsutsu no Shuzoku will launch on the 30th March for ¥6,980 yen in Japan. It will be available in digital and packaged editions and come complete with 20 days of free play. Wii U owners can register through the Wii U’s version’s registration, whereby you’ll receive the in-game items ‘Slime Hat’ and 20 ‘Lottery Tickets’. Square Enix is also offering a saving on the download version of the game for exclusive Wii U players for ¥3,490. Nintendo will also be releasing a limited supply of Dragon Quest X-themed 3000 Nintendo Pre-Paid card for Wii U players.
A special Wii U Premium Set, priced at ¥42,000 yen, will also be available containing the Wii U version of the game, a Wii U Pro Controller (black), a 1,000 yen Nintendo prepaid card and an item code for five of the in game item, “chō genki dama (super energy ball).”
