Independent developer Fei Hu have launched a crowd sourcing campaign on Indiegogo.com to extend their social free to play game Prisonhood to Android devices and FaceBook worldwide aswell as iOS devices.
The use of an online crowd-fundraising model unites personal and professional communities in a collective effort to demonstrate support and confidence in a project and its team. Moreover, crowd-funding generates greater visibility and awareness of a specific project across a wide-range of personal and professional networks. Fei Hu Interactive plans to test the power of crowd-funding and aims to raise US$50,000 in just 30 days.
“We were attracted to the Indiegogo platform for two reasons, first that it is a successful international platform for sourcing funds and second it supports payment through PayPal which is widely recognized as the premier online method for secure payment” said Robert Hayes, CEO of Fei Hu Interactive.
Prisonhood is a new social free-to-play game set in the dark recess of prison. With a clever blend of role-playing, social and casual gaming elements Prisonhood has been inspired by the shady side of prison life and seamlessly incorporates the social experience with in-game challenges, task management and distinctive mini-games.
