FIFA 14 Ultimate Team Legends On Xbox One & Xbox360

Posted by GG Goblin On August - 20 - 2013

Football legends will be coming exclusively to Xbox One and Xbox360, and FIFA 14 bundles are announced for both consoles.

Legendary footballers such as Pelé, Patrick Vieira, Freddie Ljungberg, Ruud Gullit, and Gary Lineker will be playable in FIFA 14 Ultimate Team only on Xbox consoles. This season, fans will be able to craft their FIFA 14 Ultimate Team with a mix of legendary players on the pitch alongside today’s stars on Xbox One and Xbox 360. Microsoft also announced an Xbox One Day One Edition bundle in Europe that includes FIFA 14, while stocks last, along with a FIFA 14 console bundle for Xbox 360 later this year.

Each Legend will have their own distinct look, unique attributes, and custom biography, and will be randomly included in Gold Packs in FIFA 14 Ultimate Team on Xbox One and Xbox 360. Fans will be able to acquire Legends in Gold Packs or through the Transfer Market, and then compete with their squads in special tournaments that showcase the skills and flair that made each of these players legendary. Each Legend will be available in packs for a limited time and at different times throughout the season. Joining Xbox and EA SPORTS Senior Vice President and Group General Manager Matt Bilbey on stage to make the announcements, football superstars Freddie Ljungberg and Ruud Gullit were confirmed as two of the first Legends to join FIFA 14 Ultimate Team on Xbox later this year.

“We’re thrilled to bring legendary footballers to FIFA 14 Ultimate Team on Xbox.  Only on Xbox will you be able to terrorise defences with a dream partnership of Messi with the legendary Pelé,” said Matt Bilbey, EA SPORTS Senior Vice President and Group General Manager.

Microsoft also announced two FIFA 14 console bundles which will be coming to Xbox this year:

– Xbox One FIFA 14 Pre-Order Bundle:  All pre-order Xbox One consoles in launch countries in Europe (including the UK) this Christmas  will include a digital version of a blockbuster game, and the first of these bundles will be the best-selling sports franchise FIFA 14 (available while stocks last).  All pre-orders to date and pre-orders from today will include FIFA 14, while stocks last: xbox.com/en-GB/xboxone/reserve

– Xbox 360 FIFA 14 Launch Bundle:  From 27 September in Europe, fans will be able to purchase a FIFA 14 Xbox 360 bundle for £199 ERP[1], including a copy of FIFA 14 for Xbox 360.  Available while stocks last: xbox.com

“Xbox is the best place to play games and we’re excited to offer customers these exclusive pre-order FIFA 14 bundles for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One at fantastic value.  We know just how popular this franchise is to our fans and our Xbox One bundle in particular is our gift to those who pre-order early,” said Phil Harrison, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft.

FIFA 14 comes to Xbox 360 on 27 September in Europe, and will be available on Xbox One from launch.
