Brian Blessed Voices Putty Squad Launch Trailer

Posted by GG Goblin On November - 25 - 2013

System 3’s Putty Squad launches this week as a PlayStation 4 launch title, so why not add Brian Blessed’s voice to the launch trailer?

Voiced by the incredible Brian Blessed, the launch trailer takes you on a retrospective journey from 90’s original to the re-imagined classic of today.

Bringing this retro classic up-to-date with high definition graphics, a remastered soundtrack, and brand new features, such as Challenge mode and the Sticker Book, Putty Squad is a love letter to old-skool gameplay and frenetic action.

“Putty Squad has been a long time coming, but starting November 29th, as a PlayStation 4 launch title, we are overjoyed to be able to bring fans of gaming a unique and charming experience,” said Mark Cale, CEO of System 3. “Working with Brian Blessed has been an absolute dream, and we couldn’t think of anyone better to help us launch Putty Squad.”

With its undeniable charm, Putty Squad will reinforce the values that made British developed games the centre of the world in the 90s.

Putty Squad has been given a complete overhaul in graphics to deliver a modern immersive experience. Gameplay has been finely tuned to offer an accessible platform game for all fans, and downloadable free levels will be made available for a year after launch. Putty you can punch, inflate, morph, stretch, lie flat and absorb on his journey through a host of different levels.

Games Features:

- One of retro gaming’s most-loved heroes returns in the original, critically acclaimed platform-adventure.
- An entire year of free downloadable content.
- All new challenge mode.
- Online leaderboards to compare with your friends.

Putty Squad is available as a lunch title for PlayStation 4 from November 29th 2013 and shortly thereafter for  PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, Windows 8, Steam, Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS.
