To support this new venture, FunStock have also brought on board industry veteran, Mark Garrett. Having held key roles within Gamestation and most recently Dixons retail PLC, Mark joins as Commercial Director.
In addition, as part of the site launch, FunStock Digital will be giving away an Alienware gaming PC to one lucky BETA tester. For your chance to win, register at www.funstockdigital.co.uk.
“FunStock have engaged closely with a wide spectrum of gamers over the past two years through their retail activities and by attending gaming events such as Play Expo, MCM and Insomnia. They’ve learnt a lot and this is a natural progression for the business.” commented Mark Garrett, Commercial Director of FunStock. “FunStock customers want quality products, great service and competitive prices. FunStock have shown that they can do that with physical games; now we are laying the foundations to do the same in the digital space.”
This latest development further strengthens FunStock’s position in the video games market by adding a wide catalogue of products for digital download to its existing activities in the retro gaming arena and speciality in Japanese games download site; Rice Digital (recently voted Edge Magazines “Site of the month”).
Live BETA testing is under way already with testers receiving exclusive discount codes as a special thank you for their support and feedback. Anyone wanting to take part in the BETA testing and benefit from the discount code should register their interest at www.funstockdigital.co.uk.
