Devolver Digital Announces Rezzed Line-up

Posted by TurtleGirl On February - 27 - 2014

Devolver Digital are delighted to announce the games that will be occupying the top shelf in their open bar at this year’s Rezzed Expo. Seven of the finest PC games in the world will be primed and ready to put on a show this March 28-30, at the NEC in Birmingham. Even better, five of them will be providing the busy hands of gamers their first ever chance to touch them.

Presenting first, the smashing chaps from Roll7. You’ll know them for the sleepless nights and blistered thumbs provided by arcade skate-em-up OlliOlli, which will be brought to PC, Mac and Linux by Devolver this year.

That’s not all, as the same team is also bringing along their as-yet unannounced title, making its debut at Rezzed. Needless to say, this is a massive exclusive and should cement Roll7 as a UK developer on the rise.

Speaking of Roll7, the guys have been uncaged for the weekend and will be on hand to demo their games and to handle your questions/lunch. This is only if we can stop them from skateboarding around the Expo, mind.

In a match made in Heaven, Devolver have teamed up with South African developer Free Lives to bring patriotism simulator Broforce to Rezzed, where it plans to rain down the Shock and Awe, all in the name of freedom, sucka.

Next up from Vagabond Dog based in Canada comes Always Sometimes Monsters. Less RPG and more emotional rollercoaster, indecision is your enemy and empathy is your weapon on a quest to reunite with a lost love.

The Deconstructeam Team in Spain present Gods Will Be Watching, a game about hard decisions and moral dilemmas in order to survive. A series of dramatic puzzles where not only the mathematic outcome counts but also the ethical approach to the problem. Is eating your friends the best way to stay alive, or just the easier?

LUFTRAUSERS, from everyone’s indie darlings, Vlambeer, is coming to PC, Mac, Linux, PS3 and PlayStation Vita. Rezzed will be your chance to play this stylish aerial dig fighting game on PC.

Last, but not least, we have Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number from Dennaton in Sweden. With a reputation for Danger and Outrageousness  Hotline Miami 2 will be playable at the Expo on both PC and PS4.
