Former DJ Hero/ Guitar Hero team members have announced the first game from their recently formed game studio, a rhythm-based title for touchscreen devices.
Salvage is an upcoming game for Windows, iOS and Android touchscreen devices created by two man indie team ‘Mad Fellows’. It features a mind-blowing soundtrack from some of the world’s leading bass music producers including NOISIA, ZOMBOY, SKisM and more. Pilot your ship through treacherous environments to get the valuable salvage. You’ll need to swipe to negotiate obstacles and destroy security drones with well-timed taps, all perfectly synchronised to the incredible soundtrack. The game runs on Mad Fellows own ‘Frustum Engine’ technology. Salvage is a product of Greenshoots, a programme jointly developed by Creative England and Microsoft and supported by the Regional Growth Fund.
Mad Fellows founders, Dan Horbury and Paul Norris have been on the cutting edge of video game development for well over a decade. Working first for Codemasters and then FreeStyleGames (Activision/Blizzard), they’re associated with high profile projects including DJ Hero 2, DJ Hero, Guitar Hero DLC as well as the ToCA Race Driver and Colin McRae series. They founded Mad Fellows in August 2013.
