Riot games are excited to announce the venues and dates for their League of Legends World Championship in Europe later this year. The team will be taking the show on the road across five weeks of events through Paris, London, and Brussels for group, quarters and semi-finals before landing in Berlin where the two remaining teams will battle it out at the World Championship Final.
The League of Legends World Championships is a global eSports competition where the best League of Legends pro teams from all over the world compete to win the Summoner’s cup. The 2014 World Championships were held across Taipei, Singapore, Busan and Seoul, Korea with the grand final being held in the World Cup stadium in front of 40,000 spectators. The final was watched online by 27 million viewers worldwide with 11.2 million concurrent viewers at peak. Check out the pictures attached for a look at the final.
