Prospect Games has expanded its core team and relocated to a new Manchester studio as it expands to complete development, Unbox, with a Steam Greenlight campaign beginning 17th September.
The founders of Prospect Games have a wealth of experience across a range of already released products. Andrew Bennison successfully managed global teams for multiple online products, while Jack Bognar worked for Codemasters as a designer, taking a leading role in the design of Dirt Showdown, Grid 2 and Dirt Rally. Jack developed the original prototype for Unbox, and has created every single and multiplayer level to-date. Tim Sherliker is a development specialist, having worked on multiple engines, including Unreal Engine 2, Source, GameMaker and most recently, Unreal Engine 4, and hand crafted many of the in-game systems for Unbox.
Formed in 2013 by the three Salford University alumni, Prospect Games successfully developed and published the addictive Bypass for iOS and Android. Reflecting the company’s growth, the new Manchester studio is essential in not only delivering on Prospect Games mantra, but essential in its ability to hire the best local talent and provide a collaborative workspace.
“Andrew Bennison, Managing Director at Prospect Games said, “We’re delighted to take this next step on our journey, and our new Manchester location will form the foundations for a fresh, vibrant and dynamic working space for our staff, and drive focus on creating compelling experiences.” He continued, “As we continue the development of Unbox, and future products, we have a space that allows us to fulfil our ambitions and provide room with which to grow.”
